Day 1
Meditation is a great way to start or end your day. Start today with a short two-minute meditation:
Begin by finding a quiet place and assuming a comfortable position, sitting in a chair or lying down.
Start the timer, and begin taking deep breaths. Every time you breathe in, count 1, and every time you breathe out, count 2.
Continue to count your breaths until you have taken a total of 10 breaths. Begin again and keep counting until the timer goes off. Note how many breaths you were able to take in two minutes.
You can do this simple meditation on the breath anywhere, even without the timer, by taking 10 or more deep breaths.
